It’s clear that Amazon Prime’s version ofThe Boysis going down its own path from the source material. Whilst that’s not a bad thing, it has led to some iconic, disgusting, and diabolical characters being left out of the spotlight.The Boystends to make grotesque parodies of famed heroes in their own universe, so some fans might be thankful that they haven’t received the live-action treatment.
Regardless, there are plenty of superheroes inThe Boys’ comic universe that have yet to appear in the show. With Season 5 on the way, it’s a good time to look at some characters that could potentially feature, and what powers they possess to make them friends or foes.
6Jack From Jupiter
A Founding Member Of The Seven Who Becomes Invulnerable With A Single Word
If there is any character thatThe Boysneeds to add before the show ends, it’s Jack from Jupiter. This character was one of the original members of the Seven, and he hasn’t appeared in any capacity for the live-action show. It’s a real shame, as Jack from Jupiter is one of the more interesting and despicablemembers of the Sevenwho deserves his comeuppance.
Jack from Jupiter is marketed by Vought as an alien, and his powers allow for him to shout Carpo, which allows him to be completely invulnerable. Jack enjoys his celebrity status and flaunts it with sexual pleasures whilst also expressing jealousy for his teammates.
5Groundhawk
A Wolverine Spoof Who Leads A Superhero Sex Cult
An obvious Wolverine spoof, Groundhawk has a similar costume and stature, except he doesn’t have fingers, as his hands are literal hammers. Groundhawk is a great superhero to introduce with the popularity of Wolverine, and the fact that it could lead into the sex cult superhero team,the G-Men.
Groundhawk doesn’t really do much inThe Boys, which is why the live-action series is the perfect opportunity to flesh out this disgusting character, and really hone in on the Wolverine similarities. Groundhawk’s cannibalistic tendencies and feral attitude could make him a menace to supes and humans alike.
4Malchemical
A Bully Who Can Change His Shape And Compound
Whilst most superheroes inThe Boysareabusive and cruel, Malchemical is downright evil and fits perfectly in the world as a character who needs to meet a crowbar in the face. Malchemical was part of the superhero team called Team Titanic, but as punishment for his deeds, he was demoted to be the team leader of Super Duper, a team comprised of vulnerable heroes who mean no harm and need constant care.
As such, Malchemical preys upon them, tormenting and torturing them for his own amusement. Malchemical is an abusive and terrible person, and if his own team demoted him, one can only wonder how bad he can get, especially whenThe Boysalways tries to outdo itself by being abhorrent to viewers.
3Bobby Badoing
A Friendly Supe With The Powers To Inflate Into A Ball
One of the more innocent members of Super Duper, Bobby Badoing would be a fun and light-hearted entry, showcasing the fact that not every supe inThe Boysis evil and perverse. Bobby Badoing simply enjoys being a super-bouncy ball of fun, where he can bounce around and make his team laugh. They aren’t going to save the world, but they also aren’t going to abuse their powers to the point where they need to be taken care of.
Bobby Badoing could easily have a place inThe Boys, allowing for a comedic character to shine without the necessity for grotesque humor and actions. Bobby Badoing also opens the door for other Super Duper team members to come out into live-action, showcasing the innocent and weirder side of supes.
2Blarney Cock
The Illigitamete And Resurrected Son Of Queen Maeve
One of the more deprived heroes ofThe Boysis Blarney Cock, who also happens to be the illegitimate son of Queen Maeve and the Legend. It would be interesting to see Blarney Cock come into play, especially with how diabolical he can be. After all, this is an entitled hero who stole drugs from a children’s hospital, and has done other grotesque sexual acts with the Teenage Kix, a team of heroes that would fit into the world ofThe Boys.
Blarney Cock’s powers aren’t notable, but what is notable is his fate, in which he was killed by Hughie. After death, Blarney Cock was resurrected by Vought to show that their superheroes are basically invincible, and can resurrect like a comic character. If they do this to Blarney Cock in the show, then who’s to sayother dead supes can’t come back?
1Black Noir
A Homelander Clone Created To Kill Him If He Rebels Against Vought
There have been two versions of Black Noir inThe Boys, with the first killedby Homelander, and the second acting as a replacement so nobody knows that the first is dead. Black Noir is a great character inThe Boys, and it’s clear that he has a lot more to offer, but it’s still worth mentioning the completely different fate that awaits the comic version of Black Noir.
Black Noir in the comics does not appear in the show, as this comic version is actually a clone of Homelander that was set up as a contingency in case Homelander goes rogue. There’s always time for a third Black Noir to reveal himself and his identity as a clone, but it seems extremely unlikely at this point.
