As well asa significant amount of new story content, theBeyond the Dawnexpansion adds eleven new trophies and achievements toTales of Arise, thus bringing the total number past the 50 mark. Five of these new trophies are tied to main story progress, with the other six unlocked by completing various in-game tasks. Hero of the Summit is one of the latter.
Tounlock the Hero of the Summit achievement,Tales of Ariseplayers will need to dive from the highest place in the keystone’s Whirlpool Palace. Doing so is actually incredibly straightforward, but knowing which spot to jump from isn’t quite so clear and can cost players a good few minutes of their time if they happen to mess things up.
How to Unlock the Hero of the Summit Trophy / Achievement in Tales of Arise
As they explore the Keystone, players will eventually find themselves in the Whirlpool Palace: a circular area with a spiral staircase climbing high up into the sky. Near the top of the palace, they’ll run into their secondNazamil Nether encounter, after which, they’ll be free to either head back down to the bottom or continue climbing upward. Players should opt for the latter and keep going until they can climb no higher.
Upon reaching the highest part of the Whirlpool Palace, players will find the blue door lock. They’ll want to deactivate this while they’re here, as removing all six door locks will allow them to get their hands onthe best weapons inBeyond the Dawn. Once the beacon is no longer shining, players should turn around and look for a gap in the stone handrail. They can then jump from this gap to unlock the Hero of the Summit Trophy / Achievement.
Shionne’s Portrait
After jumping from the highest place in the keystone’s Whirlpool Palace, players will find themselves in a pool of water in the Whirlpool Palace: Level 1 area. Rather than heading through the nearby door, they should instead look for a wall of green mist and have Rinwell absorb it using her map action. In this new area, players will find Nazamil’s portrait of Shionne: one of six drawings needed tounlock the Always on Her Mind Trophy / Achievement.
