You won’t encounter all of these in a single playthrough as the World Boss alternate between two options randomly and a few can be bypassed, but even then you’re in for some tough battles to beat the game. Whether it’s taking a boss down to progress the story or to gain access to a powerful item, here are the strongest enemies you’ll face and some tips on how to bring them down.

10Stormcaller
This dungeon boss is located in the Yaesha realm and poses a tough challenge if you aren’t prepared. If the name wasn’t a clue, the Stormcaller will spam lightning to destroy you whether it’s summoning bolts from the sky or creating orbs to chase you around.
The trick is to keep moving to dodge the bolts, shoot the orbs as they appear and get in hits against the Stormcaller whenever you may. Your reward for bringing this foe down is the Storm Crystal to craft the Storm Callerweapon modthat creates a hand electrical storm around you when used.

9The Warden
The Warden is also a dungeon boss that can be tough if you don’t stay on your toes and manage crowds efficiently. He throws glances at you or gets in close to deliver a three-hit combo. Stay moving to avoid either, where he gets tricky is the bell lance he places that summons adds. Try to take this bell out the second he places it to prevent too many adds from spawning or you’ll get overwhelmed quickly.
Killing him will drop the Kin Callers Bell which is used to craft the weapon mod Song of Swords. This mod will create a 20-meter aura that increases the damage of any hero standing in it by 15%.

8Totem Father
The Totem Father is a world boss that might be found in the Yaesha realm and his defeat is necessary to progress. He fights from the tops of columns leaping around to attack you or place totems. When he’s on the columns, dodge his attacks and deal damage. When he’s off the columns, focus on evading his attacks and destroying the totems that are placed.
If you can manage the adds and totems, you’ll have a better chance of succeeding, but it can be tough when he’s attacking. Defeating him on hardcore mode drops the powerful Ring of Supremacy.

7Shatter And Shade
These dungeon bosses from the Rhom realm will fight side by side and can be tough to take down when together. Shade is a ranged fighter and Shatter will harass you at melee. It’s recommended to take down Shade first as this makes fighting Shatter much easier without having to dodge the ranged attacks Shade throws at you, not to mention you won’t have to worry about his devastating Radioactive Ball attack.

It also prevents them from using a brutal combined attack that creates radioactive orbs, puts a force field around them, and causes adds to start pouring out of the walls. In this phase take down the adds and wait for the force field to come down.
6Ravager
The Ravager is a deadly beast found in the Yaesha realm and must be killed to progress if it appears. Admittedly it’s easy to defeat if you play the lullaby via the bell puzzle which will cause it to sleep and give you the Stalker’s Claw used to craft Scar of the Jungle God, a strong melee weapon. If you want the stronger Curse of the Jungle God handgun, you’ll have to fight him.
In combat, it’s a swift and ferocious melee attacker that’ll leap around and slice you to ribbons with its claws. When you do enough damage, it’ll temporarily flee and send adds after you before coming back with a vengeance.

5Canker
Many fans feel this is the toughest enemy in the game and its entirely based on your build and abilities as a player. What makes this fight hard is that you’re on the clock as the room will start filling with water which will get you killed.
The more water in the room, the harder it is to see the corrosive bombs Canker creates and its sound wave attack will be more likely to knock you down. On top of all this nonsense, you have to contend with the occasional swarm of adds. Avoid the bombs, stand on the sides to avoid the waves, and take the Canker down as quickly as you can.

4Onslaught
The toughest fight you’ll encounter in the Yaesha realm is against Onslaught. This boss is a nightmare thanks to its ability to blink across the battlefield, disappearing and reappearing wherever he wants. Onslaught will use this ability to dodge attacks, blindside the player, and initiate a brutal frontal assault where he appears out of nowhere and bashes you in the face.
The key is to stay moving and try to keep tabs on him and where he reappears. It’s a dangerous dance and you’ll get ambushed repeatedly in spite of your best efforts.

3Undying King
The ruler of theRhom realmis an entirely optional boss fight, but necessary if you want to bypass Corsus altogether, keep the Guardian’s Heart to give to the Iskal Queen, and if you want thepowerful Ruin.

In the first phase of battle, he’ll try to swarm you with adds and summons two flying orbs. Once you defeat them he’ll draw his melee weapons and slowly chase you down in phase two. Don’t let him hit you with his combo or it’s an insta-kill. In the final phase, he tries to regenerate health with the altar while summoning adds to keep you distracted. After some health is recovered he’ll start at phase one again with whatever health he has.
2Ixillis
Many will willingly fight the Undying King to avoid this boss on Corsus. The Ixillis is the final boss of that realm and an absolute nightmare. There are no adds, ever, but that’s because this monstrous duo doesn’t need them.
The best strategy is to take down orbs as soon as they appear, dodge attacks, pummel the main orb with bullets during their Scream attack, and deal damage to both creatures equally. Once one of them is killed the other becomes enraged and much more dangerous. Killing them both in short succession in addition to making the fight easier can get you the Guardian Tentacle which is used to make the Guardian Axe.

1The Dreamer/Nightmare
By far the strongest enemy you’ll encounter in the game is the final boss The Dreamer and The Nightmare. Without spoiling anything, this boss starts as the Dreamer which is a much easier phase as long as you defeat it quickly before roots spawn that can ruin your day. However, you can cause The Dreamer to damage its own roots through positioning.
It’ll switch to the Nightmare, which is significantly tougher. You’ll be taken to the Shadow Realm where you suffer continual damage and must go through the portal to escape, though each enemy you kill will give you a damage boost. When you return via the portal, use your buffed damage to attack the monster until The Dreamer appears, then focus your fire on it. It’s a simple enough process, but brutally difficult to pull off.
