How to Access the CAS Mode in The Sims 4
It goes without saying thatThe Sims 4won’t be as enjoyable if Sims had only a handful of hairstyles and outfits to choose from. The CAS mode, on the other hand, enables gamers to change the traits or features of their Sims whenever they want to. This way, Simmers can customize the personality of a Sim however they want. However, the CAS mode is only accessible through cheats.
Enabling Cheats
It is important to enable cheats before using them.The key combos for activating cheatsvary depending on the platform gamers are using.
Press Ctrl + Shift + C on the keyboard and the cheat box will pop up. Next, players can type “testingcheats true” in the box and apply their desired cheats. On a Mac, press Command+Shift+C and type “testingcheats true” in the box. to bring up the cheat box on consoles, hit all four triggers on the controller simultaneously.
Once cheats are activated inThe Sims 4,players are free to use the cheat to enter the CAS mode. All that players need to do is type “cas.fulleditmode” and choose the Sim they want to edit while holding the Shift key. Xbox requires players to press the A and B buttons, while PlayStation players will need to press the O and X keys on the controller simultaneously.
This will open a menu where players will see many options, including ‘Modify in CAS.’ Clicking on this option will take players to the CAS mode for that Sim. Once there, Simmers canmake changes to their Sim’s appearance, clothing, traits, aspirations, and family relationships. After making the required changes, players can click the ‘tick’ icon to save the changes and return to the live mode.
