The series has found a home on Netflix and has released several series that follow the remaining character, Baki, journey to becoming the strongest fighter in Japan and surpassing his father, the Ogre Yujiro Hanma. The Baki manga continues to be adapted into its own anime and has a plannedcrossover with Kengan Asura, released on Netflix. Of the characters that populate the treacherous world of Baki, Baki Hanma, a young high school student gifted with enormous potential, stands among the giants of men who all seek unparalleled strength and are capable of unspeakable calamity. Baki is filled with unstoppable fighters who all carry unique abilities that make them stand out among common combatants. Here are more of the strongest fighters in Baki.
27Sikorsky
Able To Clench flat Surfaces With An Inhumanly Strong Grip Strength
Sikorsky was a thorn in the side of most fighters in Japan as he would show up and start a fight he could never truly finish. While Sikorsky’s physical capabilities were grand, he was notable for his intense grip strength, which allowed him to cling to flat surfaces like the side of buildings.
Sikorsky was a pale comparison to the combatants he faced in Japan, but he did engage with a number of the top fighters and come out alive. However, his fights with both Baki and Jack Hanma ended early due to interference. It wasn’t until Jack and Gaia trapped him in the underground fighting arena that he was completely overpowered and forced to admit defeat.

26Spec
Causes Permanent Damage To Hanyama
Spec was an enigma compared to most of the other escaped inmates who ventured into Japan searching for defeat. While most were motivated by sheer ego or intense desire, Spec simply seemed to possess a love for chaos. Wherever he went, Spec caused as much trouble as humanly possible, and thanks to his inhuman abilities, he succeeded in most of his goals.
Unfortunately, even with his freakish strength and massive body, he was ill-prepared for the level of combat he would receive from some of the strongest fighters in Tokyo. Spec faced off against the well-known and respected Hanayama, and while the fight was brutal for both sides, Hanayama’s brute strength overwhelmed Spec’s dirty tricks. While Spec was not the strongest or most skilled of the escaped inmates, he was the most sinister.

25Hector Doyle
Able To Leave Cuts On Olivas' Skin
Hector Doyle arrived in Japan and wasted no time searching for a battle that would satisfy his hunger for combat. Doyle constantly picked fights with strong-looking fighters, the first of which was a prominent kickboxer who was ill-prepared to deal with Doyle’s sneaky advantages.
Doyle fights dirty, like most of the escaped convicts, with hidden blades implanted in his elbows that he uses to inflict fatal wounds on unsuspecting opponents. Hector’s flexibility, reflexes, and speed are also superhuman, which makes him supremely suitable for his line of work as an assassin. However, Hector Doyle would find himself the target of Biscuit Oliva, and he stood no chance against the behemoth after having lost his sight in the previous fight.

24Kureiha Shinogi
The Lethal Surgeon
Kureha Shinogi first appeared in the twenty-first episode ofBaki The Grappler TVseries and debuted as the physician to the fighters in the underground tournament. He pieces the damaged souls back together, piece by piece, with exquisite precision, having an enormous knowledge of physical anatomy.
This makes his double life as a fighter an especially lethal one. In the ring, Kureha is a highly skilled fighter who has developed his own special techniques using his intellect and peak physical condition. He has had quite a few fights in the tournament, including one against Baki Hanma.

23Ryuukou Yanagi
Defeated Baki Hanma In Single Combat
Of all the death row inmates who flooded Tokyo to quench an intense desire to taste defeat,Ryuukouwas perhaps the most dangerous of them all. Unlike most of his peers, Ryuukou was a highly trained martial artist and had spent his life honing his craft to be as deadly as he possibly could.
While many fighters crossed paths with the death row inmates, Ryuukou is the only one to stand toe to toe with an opponent and come out the victor. Even more so, using his poison hand technique, Ryuukou was able to defeat Baki in combat, which nearly claimed his life.

Fought And Survived The Strongest Fighters In Japan
Ali Jr.was a wildcard that was dropped into the world of Baki like a falling star and made a big splash, setting his eyes on the son of the ogre, Baki Hanma. Alai showed extreme skill in boxing and a large amount of confidence in his combat ability.
Having his own lineage of greatness, Alai Jr. sought to dethrone the one man who bested his father by taking on Baki Hanma in a match to the death. Alai Jr. was a top-of-the-line athlete but lacked the experience that comes with life-or-death situations.

21Kaiou Ryu
One Of The Most Honored In Chinese Martial Arts
Another prospering opponent who was slated to be a high contender in the martial arts tournament arc in theBakianime. Kaiou Ryu was highly regarded by some of the strongest fighters on the show, including Kaiou Retsu and Sea Emperor Kaku. While he was an aged fighter, he still possessed the physical prowess of a young fighter. In the first round, Ryu was faced against the Ogre himself.
What was sure to be an excellent fight between two skilled warriors was turned into a sideshow as Yuji made Ryui look like a child in front of his pupils and fellow fighters. In the fight, Ryu had his face ripped off and only took one blow before being defeated. Another legacy was crushed by having the unlucky fate of facing Yujiro Hanma.

20Shunsei Kaku
The Son Of The Great Sea Emperor
Shunsei Kaku is a second-generation martial arts prodigy who has trained since birth to be the most lethal and technical fighter and one day surpass his father. He made his first appearance during the tournament arc, where both Yujiro and Baki competed alongside Biscuit Oliva. While Shunseiu is a physical marvel, he had the unfortunate occurrence of having his first match against the Hanma-blooded Baki fresh off of a whole-body recovery. Shunsei swiftly rushed into battle and was struck down in the blink of an eye, only to wake up on the ground before his father, who shared his immense disappointment. Shunsei has undoubtedly accomplished much in his youth, but against the supernatural physiques of the Hanman family, even his father nearly lost his life taking on the Ogre.
19Ali Sr.
The Greatest Of All Time
Mahamad Ali Sr. is closely based on the World Boxing Champion Mahamad Ali and dramatically upscaled as a retired boxer who is considered among the strongest in the world, even by the Ogre, Yujiro Hanma. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, the Champ retired and has never returned to the ring.
Ali Sr. appeared after Ali Jr lost in his bout to Baki Hanma. Nearly dying, Ali Sr. used some of the last fire in his belly to intervene and save his son’s life. Later, he bestowed a great lesson on fighting in life-or-death situations and yet another defeat on his son.

18Jun Guevaru
The Rebel Fugitive Of Revolution
Jun appeared in the Convict arc of the Baki anime and immediately became one of the pillars of strength inside the maximum-security prison. While Baki was trying to quickly learn the ropes, Guevara had his sights fixated on Oliva Unchained, the enforcer of the prison who kept everyone in line.
Guevara made it clear how much stronger he was than most inmates and was the only true rival to beat Oliva and take his title as Unchained. When the two faced off in the middle of the prison, Guevara proved himself to be quite the opponent, but he was no match against Oliva’s immeasurable raw strength.
