WithinThymesia, obtaining specific items, such as Memory Shards, is critical to advance Corvus’s attributes. Players can increase his strength, vitality, Claw damage, and maximum energy with Memory Shards. As the game progresses, more and more Memory Shards are required to make advancements, so it is critical to farm as much as possible at every turn of the game. Repeating levels is key to maxing out the Memory Shard collection, but knowing where the best areas for farming are will make all the difference.

The Sea Of Trees Area

At the beginning of the game, players will head to the Sea of Trees area from Philosopher’s Hill. At this point, a great way to farm Memory Shards is to complete everything up to the first boss, revealing all the beacon locations. This allows them to choose where to re-enter the area to begin farming, using the beaconas a save point. If an area doesn’t produce as many Memory Shards as they like, they’ll have the option to move on to another area once they complete it.

From where they choose to enter, they will need to progress to the most populated area, which is generally at the end, and battle their way through the enemies. This is an excellent method of earning 1000+ Memory Shards. The levels can be repeated as many times as the player wants, netting as much Memory as needed for leveling up attributes. As this is an area near the early stages of the game, it offers an easy way for early attribute building.

The Royal Garden Area

By the time players get to the Royal Garden area, they will have had time to upgrade their potion ingredient slots to 3, allowing for the creation of better potions. One of these is a Focus Potion and making it will allow for a 10% increase in the collection of Memory Shards. Players will need Thyme, Rosemary, and Mint to make this potion. It is beneficial to make the most use of Focus as soon as it is available for the best Memory Shard farming.

The Royal Garden is an excellent area to use this potion. It offers flat ground and high spawning rates of enemies that drop a good deal of Memory Shards. Players will need to look for mini-bosses and drink the potion right before battling them for maximum effects. Because the potions wear off, bringing in as many as possible is key to gaining the most Memory from each run. Players should unlock all areas of the Royal Garden to allow themselves options for where to farm to enable the greatest collecting experience.

By disregarding all lower-scale enemies and rushing straight to the boss, the sub-quest can be beaten in a mere 2 - 3 minutes, making this one of the best locations for farming.

Sea Of Trees - Mutated Odur

The final sub-quest in the Sea of Trees area involves a boss fight with a mutated version of Odur, who players recently defeated. While he looks bigger and badder, players will find he’s not exactly harder to beat. There are no other enemies in this level, so players can get straight down to business with the boss, not worrying about anything else getting in the way.

The rewards of Memory Shards in this level are through the roof, with players bringing in 6400 afterdefeating Mutated Odur. At later status levels in the game, that’s more than half of what is required to level Corvus up. Players can quickly level him up several times in just a few minutes by repeating this boss fight, with one battle generally taking only 2 - 3 minutes.
