SinceValheimfirst released, trolls have been terrorizing unsuspecting adventurers and generally wreaking havoc. Now, Twitch streamer Gladd has given viewers a glimpse of what a troll would look like inValheimif it was beefed up to a 10-star rating.

WithValheimmods getting more and more creative, adding abilities like spellcasting, Gladd’s clip is a reminder that sometimes the simplest mods can be the most fun. The mod in question, created by Blaxxun, is called “Creature Level and Loot Control.” It allows players the ability to customize enemy creatures, including adding difficulty stars. In this mod, an enemy’s size increases corresponding with their star rating, meaning that a 10-star troll is absolutely massive. As seen in the short clip, the troll also has a “lightning-infused” modifier applied to it, imbuing the troll with abilities similar to Eikthyr—Valheim’s first boss.

Last month,Valheimplayers were introduced to a glitch that made the already scarytrolls even more terrifying. This recent clip featuring a 10-star troll might ratchet up the fear factor one more notch. The gigantic, now red-hued, troll in the clip is as tall as most of the trees in the Black Forest biome. While Gladd doesn’t get close enough to be attacked in the clip, it’s safe to say that the fight would likely end in one shot, especially considering the added lightning damage.

The reactions to the clip were generally those of complete shock, with one Twitter commenter suggesting that Gladd should exploit the troll tofarm wood quickly, since every swing from the 10-star troll’s club would take out more than half a dozen trees. Of course, another viewer wondered just how high the star rating could go. According to the information given on the mod’s page, there is “no maximum for custom difficulty.” This begs the question of just how large of a creature could be made inValheim.

Throughout the duration of his stream, Gladd experiment applying this mod to various other enemies inValheim, including turning thealready dangerous Deathsquitointo a 10-star version that was about the size of a horse. Unfortunately, as fun as the mod appears to be, the giant versions of enemies seem to have difficulty targeting and attacking as they normally would. Gladd attempted to pit a pair of giant Fulings against a giant Draugr, but the two groups would not fight.
