The roguelike action gameVampire Survivorscontinues to grow with its latest downloadable content,Tides of the Foscari. The new add-on brings more characters, stages, weapons, secrets, and more to the addicting pixilated hit.
One of the first unlockable characters from theVampire SurvivorsDLC is Eleanor Uzinor, who can be unlocked byfinding and opening the coffin on the Lake Foscari stage. It is an objective thathas been used in the pastfor other rewards, but this mission requires the new stage exclusive to the Tides of the Foscari DLC. This guide will help players find and open the coffin in Lake Foscari to quickly receive the new character.

Where to Find the Coffin at Lake Foscari
The coffin is located in the new Lake Foscari stage that will already be available after installing the new DLC. Players can choose any character to complete the challenge but must select the Lake Foscari stage near the bottom of the stage selection list.
The first step is to make sure the Show Guides option is enabled in the pause menu. It will reveal the coffin’s location, marked as a black and red square with an arrow pointing in the general direction of it.
Next, follow the dirt path northwest of the character’s location after spawning into the map. The path will snake along until coming across a short bridge, and then the path will go north. The road will end in a giant, muddy field, but players should continue north until reaching a village full of mushroom houses. Follow the black and red square indicator northwest until the sparkling coffin is in view.
How to Open the Coffin at Lake Foscari
The coffin can be opened by simply running into it and touching it, which causes a large horde of mushroom enemies to appear and encircle the player’s character. The enemies themselves are not especially tough, but the large number can be very daunting to fight if not properly equipped withscreen-clearingVampire Survivorweapons.
It is best to trigger the coffin fight after leveling up and having a few weapons, at least. Upgrading the equipment is also necessary for an easier fight, but players do not have to wait long or createa limit break buildto finish the battle.
Defeating the final mushroom enemy will make a pop-up message appear, and the character Eleanor Uzinor will now be playable. After the message disappears, it is safe for players to quit the game and unlock Eleanor Uzinor from the character selection screen by paying a specific amount of gold, depending on how many characters the player has unlocked beforehand. She becomes important as part of a series of challenges that lead tobreaking the seal on the Lake Foscari stageto unlock further rewards from the DLC.
