Where To Find Iron Ore In Wartales
Thankfully, Iron Ore can be found almost everywhere, and stockpiling them can do favors forimproving the starting experience. Players can purchase them fromtraveling merchantsor pick them up for free fromspecific ore nodeswhile traversing the world map. Each of these nodes can give anywhere between a single unit of iron to a bundle of four or more.
The most efficient way to get Iron Ore is tominethem. There are a lot of different mines scattered across the world ofWartales, and the ones containing iron can help players quickly stock up for all of their crafting or trading needs. One such mine can be found early in the game—head to Stromkapp and follow the south road that curves west. There’s an iron mine by the foot of the mountain, but it’s usually guarded by a gang of outlaws. Kill them all orsell them off at the Tiltren jail, then move on.
To extractIron Ore from mines,players will need to have a characterwith theMiner profession. Interact with any iron vein inside the cave (Tip: hold Left Alt to highlight objects) to start a mini-game. Keep clicking on the gray circles when the green ring passes over them and eventually, the miner will break the vein and get all the iron it has to offer. Players can get up to nine pieces of Iron Ore per vein using this method with the potential for more depending on their miner’s proficiency.
Some mines are occupied by honest folk who are just doing their jobs. If players want to get iron from these places, they’ll either have to pay, persuade, or threaten the resident foreman.
