Galeclaw is among the handiest creatures to obtain during the early levels of your playthrough, as it is thefastest Glider Pal in the game. However, to get their hands on Galeclaw, players will first need to know the whereabouts of this creature, so they know which parts of the world map to explore on their hunt.
Where to Find and Catch Galeclaw in Palworld
InPalworld, Galeclaw is one of the best Pals to consider tracking down for the early hours of a playthrough. This is because thisPal has the ability to become a Glider, thanks to the use of Pal Gear. Galeclaw also happens to be the fastest Pal Glider in the game, so having this bird critter on your team will have you zipping around the skies from high altitudes in no time.
Galeclaw’s Habitats
Galeclaw has two rather large habitats in which it can be found, with each one of these located in the left and right zones of the large, middle island placed in the center of the map. For exact map locations, please refer to the screenshot below, where Galceclaw’s known spawn points have been indicated with orange markers.
This means that Galeclaw should be relatively easy to find, as well as quite accessible at lower levels, due to these locations being not too far from the player’s initial starting point. Galeclaw can also be encountered during both the daytime and nighttime, so this means that your search won’t be restricted to specific in-game hours.
Galeclaw Skills & Work Suitability, Explained
Galeclaw’s utility tends to be rather hit or miss, depending on how you aim to use this Pal and at what stage of your playthrough. In particular, Galeclaw is best utilized in the earlier stages of the game, between levels 10 and 30. This is because not only will the Pal be found spawning within this level range, but this is also when you’ll be able to make use of the combat stats prior to going up against much more powerful opponents.
Galeclaw only has one Work Skill, withGathering level 2. While this does mean that Galeclaw will be much more efficient at carrying out Gathering tasks than a Pal with a level 1 in this skill, the lack of skill versatility means it isn’t a great choice to equip to your Base as a worker.
Instead, Galeclaw thrives most when utilized as a member of your active party for exploration and battling in the early stages of the game. This is because Galeclaw’s biggest perk and most significant utility comes from the ability to become a Glider. Galeclaw is quite simply the best Glider inPalworld, and this isn’t due to sheer speed alone. Impressively, Galeclaw’s Partner Skill, Galeclaw Rider, will scale with each level gained, increasing the base flying speed and decreasing stamina drained whilst gliding. On top of this,Palworldplayers can even wield a gunwhile soaring around with Galeclaw to fight from the skies, which is unique to this Pal only.
Galeclaw’s most significant strength is its Glide speed, so to optimize this, you’ll not only need to have it as a member of your party but also craft the Pal Gear item known asGaleclaw’s Gloves.
How To Craft Galeclaw’s Gloves
To craft Galeclaw’s Gloves, you will first need to unlock this item recipe usingTechnology Pointsfrom level 23 and above. After unlocking the crafting recipe for this item, you will need to head over to aPal Gear Workbenchand expend a few resources and materials to craft this key item. Thankfully, you will only need to craft it once, as these items stay in your inventory and can be used for each Pal of the same kind, rather than needing to craft multiple and equip them to each separate Pal.
Galeclaw’s Gloves Crafting Materials:
If you’re not using Galeclaw as a Glider to soar through the skies, then there’s honestly not much point in utilizing this Pal at all. You’ll soon come across options that are both significantly more brutal in combat and increasingly better at operating as Mounts, as some Pals arecapable of both land travel and flying through the sky.
