Summary

World of Warcraftplayers will have a limited time to claim a mount called “Mimiron’s Jumpjets” by taking part in the ongoing Secrets of Azeroth event. However, the event will end within a few days of this writing, soWorld of Warcraftplayers who want to claim the mechanical mount for themselves will have to band together quickly to get the parts needed to make it.

The Secrets of Azeroth event started on August 31, just days before therelease of the Fury Incarnate content updateinWorld of Warcraft. During this new event, players can take part in different scavenger hunts that update daily at 3:00 p.m. Pacific. In addition to quests from NPCs, someWorld of Warcraftplayers have uncovered secrets that were linked to recent social media posts from theWoWdevelopment team. However, some secrets could only be uncovered by taking part in the event’s quests, as the quests reward items such as the Torch of Pyrreth that are used to uncover secrets at certain locations across the entirety of Azeroth, not just in the Dragon Isles.

However,World of Warcraftplayers will not have long to assemble Mimiron’s Jumpjets, asthe mount is exclusive to the Secrets of Azeroth eventthat concludes on Thursday, September 14, at 3:00 p.m. Pacific. The mount requires three parts scattered throughout Azeroth that players will need to group up to obtain. Players will need to go to The Cape of Stranglethorn, the Blasted Lands, and Felwood in order to obtain one part each for Mimiron’s Jumpjets, and each part will require working together with nearby players in order to obtain them. After gathering each part,World of Warcraftplayers can take them to the Arcane Forge in Valdrakken, located on the upper ridge of The Artisan’s Market.

Once there, players can right-click on one of the parts in their inventory to claim the mechanical mount. Originally, the Arcane Forge in Valdrakken was speculated byWorld of Warcraftplayers to be part of an upcoming quest that will allowDraenei players to look like the demonic Eredar. However, with the discovery of Mimiron’s Jumpjets, that is obviously not the case.

At the time of writing, the Secrets of Azeroth event is not slated to repeat on the calendar in-game, unlikeother memorable holidays inWoW. Only time will tell if Blizzard will give players who miss out another chance outside this limited-time window to get the mount or not.
