One of the most powerful new itemsplayers can get in the nextWorld of Warcraftpatchis Fyr’alath, the Dream Render. This Legendary two-handed axe is wielded by Fyrakk, the main antagonist of Guardians of the Dream. Players who confront the fiery Primal Incarnate in the new Amirdrassil raid will have the opportunity to pry the weapon from his claws and wield it for themselves. Fyr’alath is a Strength weapon, so Warriors, Paladins, and Death Knights will definitely want to get this rare drop.

It is currently not known whether the weapon will drop directly like Rae’shalare, Death’s Whisper from Sylvanas in the Sanctum of Domination, or if it will be earned via a quest item like Nasz’uro, the Unbound Legacy from Sarkareth in Aberrus. Additionally, players have discovered two models for the weapon: the deep redShadowflame version wielded by Fyrakk inWorld of Warcraft, and a purified one that burns a fiery orange-yellow. However, players don’t know if they will be able to earn both of these appearances or only one. Either way, players can expect the weapon to drop on the Mythic version of Fyrakk, with possibly a lower chance of earning it from the easier difficulties.

Because the Fyrakk encounter won’t be tested on the Public Test Realm, players will probably have to wait until the raid opens and the weapon is dropped to learn exactly what stats and abilities it has. Either way, Fyr’alath will be the first Strength-based Legendary two-handed axe added to the game sinceShadowmourne inWrath of the Lich Kingnearly 14 years ago.

Players who can’t use two-handed axes will still have plenty of things they can earn from the Fyrakk encounter in Guardians of the Dream, however. The final boss drops several cosmetic items, Dragonriding Drake manuscripts that make one’s Renewed Proto-Dragon look like Fyrakk’s normal or Shadowflame appearance, and Anu’relos, Flame’s Guidance–a fiery owl that is the first non-draconicmount that can use the Dragonriding mechanic fromDragonflight.
