The pre-orders are currently only available from specific retailers, and theXbox All Access payment methodis restricted to an even more limited list, but both sets are expected to expand in the future. Bateman lists out everything fans need to know in impressive detail below.

Players will need to register their pre-orders with one of the following stores: Microsoft Store, Amazon, GAME, Argos, Currys PC World, Smyths Toys, John Lewis & Partners, AO.com, or Very.co.uk. At the moment, these are the only UK retailers offering pre-orders to players in this region, but that may change in the future. Theprice of the Xbox Series X and the Series Sis relatively low, as they will be available for £449 and £249 respectively, but players do have an option to pay a monthly fee to own the consoles instead via Xbox All Access.

Bateman elaborates further in a comment answering some frequently asked questions. For starters, those wanting to purchase either console through Xbox All Access will need to go through GAME or Smyths toys for now, as those are the only locations offering that service. He also makes it clear that this list isn’t representative of every single retailer offering pre-orders, just themajor retailers in the UK region. Finally, those that purchase through the Microsoft store will need to pay for the console a day before it is shipped out to them, but other stores will handle pre-order payment at their own discretion.

Bateman didn’t have anything to say about when pre-orders would go live for other regions, instead directing those questions to the applicable Twitter accounts. With the date fast approaching, though, more information is sure to come soon that reveals when other players will be able topre-order the upcoming Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
