Now, the newest Solo Mode continues the saga of the “Terminal World” storyline.

Konami officially addedYu-Gi-Oh Master Duel’s newest Solo Mode on Monday, introducing “The Sealed Deities of the Fabled Realm” as its newest story. The Solo Mode introduces players to the “Fabled” archetype, a series of monsters themed around mythological beasts like Cerberus, the Leviathan, and the Pegasus among others. Clearing the new Solo Mode will grant players exclusive cosmetics, including icons and protectors of “Fabled Leviathan” and “The Fabled Chawa” as a Mate. The Solo Mode will also give 4 Legacy Pack Tickets and200 Gems inYu-Gi-Oh Master Duel.

The newest Solo Mode focused around the “Fabled” cards comes as Konami has often implemented some ofYu-Gi-Oh’s most well-known stories into the game.Master Duelhas already featured the “Legacy of the Star Heroes” story with multiple Solo Mode challenges, focused around archetypes like “World Chalice,” “Mekk-Knight,” and “Orcust.” The previously mentioned “Terminal World” served as one of Konami’s first major examples of in-game storytelling withYu-Gi-Oh’s different archetypes. The game’s “SP Deck Challenges” also featureseveral duels based around theYu-Gi-Ohanime.
New cards have been a heavy focus forMaster Duelin recent months with the game continuing to push out cards from the physical game. July’s main Selection Pack, “Eternal Partners,” introduced a slew of new themes to the game, including support forYu-Gi-Oh GX’s “Yubel” archetype and the “Centur-Ion” cards among others.
